Video: Turkmen teachers batter students

The videos recorded in Turkmenistan’s schools have been posted on the internet. One of the teachers, if she can be called an educator at all, is beating a student on the face and the head with the heel of her shoe.

This is far from the sugar-coated image of the education system which is conveyed by the official television. Thanks to the fact that one of the students shot the video of this outrageous scene and then posted it on the web, the teaching methods used in Turkmen schools will be widely publicized.

Let us recall that during the Abadan tragedy many volunteers took video footage and sent the horrifying videos of destructions abroad. Hopefully the state-of-the-art technologies will not further allow the Turkmen authorities to conceal serious problems, which the country has experienced so far and is still experiencing.
